Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Who We Are
Servex Automations ("Servex," "we," "us," or "our") builds AI-powered automations for HVAC companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website servexautomations.com, use our services, or interact with our automated messaging systems.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and business name provided when you book a call, sign up, or contact us.
- Phone and messaging data: phone numbers associated with missed calls, SMS message content and metadata (timestamps, delivery status), and call logs.
- Usage data: pages visited, browser type, IP address, and other standard analytics data.
- Account data: login credentials and dashboard activity for client portal users.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our automation services.
- Send automated SMS messages in response to missed calls or other configured triggers.
- Communicate with you about your account, services, or inquiries.
- Analyze usage trends to improve our website and services.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. SMS/Text Messaging & Mobile Information
When you call a business that uses Servex automations and the call is missed, our system may send you an automated follow-up SMS on behalf of that business. Your phone number and opt-in consent data are used solely to deliver this service.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
The mobile information of end users will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with third parties will only be used to support the delivery of our messaging services (e.g., our SMS platform provider Twilio).
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: third-party platforms that help us deliver our services (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Supabase for data storage, Vercel for hosting). These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations.
- HVAC business partners: the business whose phone number you called may receive information about the missed call and your subsequent text conversation, as they are the intended recipient of that communication.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Google Workspace API Data & Limited Use
Some of our services connect to Google Calendar through Google Workspace APIs, with the account owner's explicit authorization, in order to check appointment availability and create, update, or cancel bookings on behalf of the businesses we serve.
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only use Google Calendar data to provide the scheduling features the account owner has enabled — checking availability and managing appointments. We do not use this data for advertising.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice.
- We do not use Google Workspace data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Where limited Calendar data (such as appointment availability) is processed by third-party AI service providers to deliver scheduling functionality, we use commercial API tiers that contractually do not use customer data to train or improve their models.
- Human access to Google user data is restricted to cases where the account owner has given consent, where it is necessary for security or legal compliance, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
